Please meet doctors
Hormoze and Kamran Goudarzi, highly experienced surgeons
specializing, but not limited to Vein (varicose veins) and GERD
(heartburn) medical solutions. |
| The practice of Goudarzi and Goudarzi started in
1987 when Dr. Kamran Goudarzi returned to Wilmington and joined his
brother, Dr. Hormoze Goudarzi in practice. The doctors were then on
their way to becoming leaders in the area's medical community. The Goudarzi's were two of the original surgeons to utilize a laser in
the management of arterial occlusions. When stenting became available,
once again the Goudarzi's were some of the first to learn the new
technique used to open the arteries in the lower extremities. They
received their training at the Arizona Heart Institute and have been
performing this practice since the early 1990's. When laparoscopy
became available to general surgeons, the Goudarzi's were leaders in
utilizing this minimally-invasive breakthrough technology in place
of open surgeries. Dr. Hormoze Goudarzi was one of the first to
perform laparoscopic gall bladder surgery while Dr. Kamran Goudarzi
performed the first Nissen Fundoplication (hiatal hernia repair) in
Wilmington in 1991. They had several other firsts including
laparoscopic colon and liver resections. |
